5 Healthy Black Friday Deals
When I was in college, I would spend Thanksgiving break with my good friend M and her family. One of her family’s traditions was getting up really early (like 3am early) to go shopping on Black Friday. We’d go from store to store, snagging deals until we couldn’t carry another single thing.
Y’all, I just don’t have the energy for that anymore!
I do still love a good deal, though, so Black Friday still gets my attention.
This post is sponsored by Groupon. All opinions are my own. Please see my privacy policy for more information.
Now, however, I prefer to do my shopping from the comfort of my couch. A mug of tea on the side table, my laptop fired up, and I’m ready to go.
One of my first virtual stops is Groupon. Did you know they have great deals on fitness, health, and wellness offers? They do! And while you can catch these deals all year-round, there are a few I’m keeping my eyes open for to snag massive discounts on Black Friday.

Five Fitness, Health, and Wellness Black Friday Deals to Look for Online
Massages
If you love a good massage, then you know that finding a good massage therapist is key. Sadly, mediocre massage therapists are a dime a dozen. But who has the money to burn through trying to find your diamond in the rough?
Can you believe I found my favorite massage therapist of all time through Groupon almost ten years ago?! It’s true!
If you think that the only people who offer their services at a discount must be desperate and horrible, you’re wrong. Most massage therapists are one-person gigs, and they have non-existent marketing budgets. Getting a massage with a Groupon is a WIN for you, too, because you get an awesome massage at a fraction of the regular price.
Massages are such a great gift because they show that you see how much your friend or family member deserves to be pampered!
Holistic Health Treatments
While I don’t understand it, I do know that not everyone loves to be touched by strangers, so massage may be (pardon the pun) off the table for some people on your gift list.
If you still want to pamper them, though, check out some other treatments that help keep your loved one feeling good.
If someone on your gift list has been curious about acupuncture, look for a deal for introductory treatments. It’s great for balancing your nervous system and restoring energy. Just a few sessions with an acupuncturist will help you realize what a sound investment you’re making in your health and wellness.
Ever tried cryotherapy? It’s a rather new treatment where you stand in a room and are blasted with short intervals of very cold air. It claims to help with muscle recovery, and it’s popular with people with certain autoimmune issues.
And given this busy world we live in, who couldn’t do with a session in a sensory-deprivation float tank? It’s one of the most peaceful, relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Imagine backfloating in warm water in a dark pod. It’s incredibly relaxing!
The best part is that you can give any of these holistic health treatments a try with a Groupon (availability varies by area). So throw your curiosity a bone and check them out!
Exercise Classes
Maybe you’ve been thinking about trying out that new fitness studio near you that everyone is raving about. Or perhaps you’ve been meaning to do yoga, and you’ve finally realized you need to get to a class to make it happen. Either way, Groupon has a variety of exercise classes available at deeply discounted rates.
This option is perfect for people who like to try a few classes before making a longer-term commitment. No one wants to be stuck with a contract at a place they don’t like after the first week! These options are also great for folks who like a lot of variety in their workouts.
Give someone you love the opportunity to find a new way to feel great in their body.
Fitness Apparel
Of course, we all want to look good when we walk into that new studio for the first time. If your leggings are so old that they’re see through (yikes!) or falling down, treat yourself to a new pair! You can find several options for fabulous new athletic leggings on Groupon.
Looking for a stocking stuffer for the fitness folks on your gift list? Some fun, funky compression socks are a great option. Not only are they bright and motivating during the workout, but they can aid a quicker recovery period, too. Throw in the fact that you can gift them right from the comfort of home, and it’s a done deal.
Family Fitness Outings
Like the idea of trying something new, but want to get the whole family involved? Why not try a fitness outing and pick up a new skill while you’re spending time together?
From archery classes to foot golf to kayak rental, you can choose an activity the whole family will enjoy. Look for an option that suits your family’s competitive nature. Do you like a little friendly rivalry, or is it best to keep competition completely out of it? With so many family fitness options, you can find something just right for your gang.
