I saw the coolest TEDed video last week, and I just have to share it with you.
Anyone who has worked with me— whether you are a three-year-old learning to swim or a sixty-nine year old looking to maintain bone health– learns quickly that I am an Explainer. I don’t just tell you what exercises or drills to do. I tell you how and why you are doing them.
Why do I do this? It’s probably because I’m an educator at heart, and I want people to really understand the super cool science that’s going on in their body each and every minute of each and every day.
Let’s face it: the human body is wicked amazing.
I don’t care what size or shape your body is. This video quickly and clearly explains how you grow your muscles. While you may not aspire to be a purple bodybuilder like the main character, the more you know about how your body works elevates your ability to be intentional in your movement. And that’s good for your body and your soul.
Enjoy!
